I can at IHCAN 2017
Did you know that one of the ways that registered Nutritional Therapsists maintain their accreditation to practice safely and effectively is through Continued Professional Development (CPD) of a minimum of 30 hours a year?
This year's IHCAN Summit (that's Integrative Healthcare and Applied Nutrition) was held on Saturday in London and was one of a number of events I attend to support my CPD.
These annual Summits are a fabulous opportunity to hear about the latest in nutritional science, network with practitioners, testing companies and other health product suppliers, learn from world class experts to expand my professional skills and knowledge and pick up some real gems to use in practice at Gut Reaction.
It proved to be an exciting and informative conference with excellent speakers headlining:
Jeanette Hyde: The Gut Makeover Results : using real food only to get real results in digestive health
Dr Khalid Khan: The Hidden Factor in All Disease : mindblowing;y simple but effective NLP techniques to improve mindset for health
Dr William Walsh: Advanced Nutrient Therapy and Healing the Brain : looking at biochemical individuality and the power of nutrients in supporting mental disorders
Dr Malcolm Kendrick: Examining Cholesterol : looking at the good, bad and the ugly myths and truths surrounding cardiovascular health
